2:30 Select leadership meet Ms. Moss at the West Gate entrance to get band ambassador assignments

• • Chamber group meet in band room and get dressed for performance

3:30 Report to the bandroom to check uniform parts. 

• • You should already be wearing bibbers, black dry-fit undershirt, long black socks, and marching shoes. 

  • Use only the main gate if you go to the stadium.

  • Keep the Denton entrance to the stadium open for bands to transition through, so avoid that entrance.  

  • Color Guard members should wear a guard shirt and have uniform and shoes in hand.

4:00 Report to the stadium through the main gate and sit in the area assigned to Davidson to support and cheer on other bands 

5:45 Report to bandroom.

• • Guard get dressed and ready for inspection. 

  • Winds and percussion get dressed and then: 

    • • Uniform inspections - Instrumentalists should have a marching jacket, bibbers, and black dry fit shirt on with a hat and hatbox.  

6:00 Visuals block in band room. Get plumes in hats. 

6:20 Move to warmup in the Gym. No playing in transit. 

6:50 Warmup 

7:20 Move to stadium 

7:30 Perform. 

• • Remove plumes with volunteers.

  • ALL BAND STUDENTS (Except drum majors and percussion) RETURN TO THE STANDS WITH ALL PARTS OF THE UNIFORM ON WITH INSTRUMENTS IN HAND 

  • Drum majors, color guard captains, and percussion stay in full uniform - Remain on the field.

8:00 Awards - drum majors and color guard captains help with this 

8:30 ALL BAND MEMBERS help with your section’s job, then help other sections once you are done! Please bring trash to the main entrance. (All students will still be in jackets and hats. Please do not set these items down in the stadium.)

• • If your job is done, help other sections complete their job! Help with trash takeout and remain at the stadium entrance for further directions. Wait for coordinators to release you to the band room to remove your jackets and bibbers. 

  • Flutes/Clarinets - move tables/canopies/chairs to the band room; pit pull parents will be available to help load these items

  • Saxes - pull trash from the main entrance trash bins; leave at the main gate for janitorial services 

  • Trumpets - help merch and concessions break down tents and pack their belongings

  • Mello/Tuba -  clean bleachers and press box 

  • Btone/Tbone -  clean bleachers and press box 

  • Percussion - move pit equipment that wasn’t moved back to the band room

  • Color guard - walk the stadium area and east gate entrance, and pick up any trash found

~9:15 After event celebration at the visitors concessions are for band students and volunteers

• • Students will receive the "all clear" after stadium and band room cleanup from Dr. Beattie before food service begins! 

  • No one will have early access to this area until ALL SECTIONS have completed their job! Please help your peers finish.
